Global Sales Development Representative (Outbound)
The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision-makers within accounts. You will discover qualified opportunities by targeting outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
Your work focuses on outbound sales strategy. You confidently share product or service information with outside prospects. You need to be highly organized.
You’ll spend a lot of time making phone calls and preparing lists.
Lead generation is your main responsibility, moving leads through a sales pipeline. You’re capable at identifying challenges and provide practical solutions to prospects.
You’re required to be a driven problem solver, identifying potential clients and matching them with our solutions. You will be required to uncover opportunities with prospects and customers and maximizing opportunity from inbound marketing leads.
Building relationships with prospects will be a central part of your job. You must
have impeccable communication skills and the ability to connect and build rapport.
You will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, using your keen business acumen thereafter to identify how our solutions can help their business and successfully position our value proposition.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media.
- Manage top of funnel business for enterprise accounts
- Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
- Build the beginning of a six-figure enterprise deal teamed with Account Executives
- Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives to further assess a prospect’s business and potential.
- Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
- Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
- Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads
- Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the sales representatives
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
- Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting
You must have:
- Track record of high achievement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career
- The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance
- “One-speed” energy with a highly self-driven sense of motivation
- Working knowledge of the enterprise software market or the ability to learn new software quickly
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
- Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leads
- Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment
- You love closing deals using complex market research and focusing on continuous learning and improvement
- Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospects
Responsibilities
- Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managers
- Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
- Consistently achieve a monthly quota of qualified opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
- At least 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
