Debuting at Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP) 2026, the next generation of Groundup.ai’s Cognitive Maintenance engine moves industrial AI beyond alerts; reasoning across sound, vibration and thermal data to pinpoint root causes and tell operators exactly what to do.

SINGAPORE – 22 October 2026 – Groundup.ai, the industrial machine intelligence company and pioneer of Agentic AI for Cognitive Maintenance, today launched GINA V2, the latest generation of the engine at the heart of its platform, at Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP) 2026, the region’s leading event for advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0. GINA V2 is built to close the gap that has long limited predictive maintenance: the distance between knowing a machine might fail and knowing exactly why, and what to do about it, before it does.
Where legacy predictive maintenance (PdM) systems rely on static thresholds and stop at flagging raw anomalies, GINA V2 reasons. Combining multimodal AI, signal processing and agentic reasoning, it analyses tri-parameter machine health data, sound, vibration and thermal signals together, to diagnose the specific mechanical root cause and prescribe precise, actionable corrective steps. The result is decision-grade guidance placed directly in the hands of the operators on the ground, before a fault reaches the plant floor.
What sets GINA V2 apart is the foundation. Groundup.ai has built its platform AI-native, from the ground up: data, models and agentic reasoning designed to work as one system. That’s a different starting point from much of the market, where AI is being layered onto condition-monitoring architectures conceived long before modern AI existed, which is why so many tools still stop at the dashboard.
A clean, AI-first stack is what lets GINA move past alerting to genuine diagnosis and prescription, and it’s what lets the platform keep compounding as the models, and the Groundup.ai Asset Library™ behind them grow.
“For years, maintenance software has been very good at raising its hand and saying something’s wrong,” said Leon Lim, CEO & Founder of Groundup.ai.
“That was never enough. The operator still had to work out what was failing, why, and what to do; often under pressure, on a machine that couldn’t wait. GINA V2 is built to answer those questions. She never sleeps and never misses a signal. This is what Cognitive Maintenance was always meant to be: AI that reasons, diagnoses and guides, so the people keeping our factories, fleets and operations running are empowered to act with confidence.”

What’s new in GINA V2:
Groundup.ai chose ITAP deliberately. The event gathers manufacturers, utilities and infrastructure operators across Asia-Pacific who live with ageing, hard-worked machinery every day, exactly the people Cognitive Maintenance is built for.
The launch comes on the back of Groundup.ai’s strongest commercial year to date. Eight-figure, multi-year contracts, expansion across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Europe, a recent open-tender win with PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, and recognition in the NextGen Tech 30 Class of 2026. GINA V2 is already being deployed across asset-heavy operations including manufacturing, maritime, defence and critical infrastructure.
Meet the team live at ITAP 2026, 21–22 October, Suntec Singapore — Booth A7, Singapore Pavilion, or book a demo here.
