We support industrial companies in reducing workplace injuries and deaths by improving workplace safety standards through our Computer Vision is driven safety monitoring solution.
We use a unique acoustic-first AI IoT approach to solving unplanned downtime for industrial companies. Our Predictive Maintenance solution is driven by our ‘proprietary IoT sound sensors and AI platform’.
We then leverage our unique 3-dimensional approach to analyze the sound data collected to pick out sound anomalies and accurately identify potential machine failures and downtime. This helps clients to save substantial maintenance expenses without the need for a huge learning curve or high-risk deployments on the ground.
With a highly accurate system in place to identify and alert workers and managers of safety breaches, allows appropriate actions to be taken before any catastrophes happen. About this role:
The Employee Experience & HR Executive is known as a People Partner and promotes a positive employee experience. In support of Groundup.Ai’s mission, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Attracting Talent and Recruitment:
- Brainstorm and work with senior management to co-create new strategies and creative ideas to enhance the employer brand and attract the right people that align with the values of our organization.
- Plan and execute recruitment processes and activities to attract candidates and meet business needs.
- Upkeep and develop new effective recruitment channels (Referrals, Career fairs, campus, e2i, etc) and recommend design and communication for recruitment collaterals.
- Co-conduct and facilitate activities for potential candidate selection, shortlisting, interviewing, benchmarking, and offering of contracts.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to execute social media storyboard/landing page/job postings on Groundup.Ai social media presence.
Orientation:
- Facilitating smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
- Manage and prepare all preboarding, onboarding, and operational paperwork, schedules, and filing.
- Ensure all new employees are aligned with the principles and values of the company.
- Conduct follow-up interviews with new hires within 30 days of commencement to ensure employees are well-onboarded.
Retention:
- Create effective ways to measure and assess engagement such as timely employee surveys and stay-interviews
Be an employee-centric partner and implement best practices to align people with organizational goals. - Work with department leads and senior management to proactively monitor employee key performance indicators, and define strategies for improvement and management (e.g., sickness, attrition etc.).
- Build and maintain relationships with employees to affect mutual end-to-end understanding of key people deliverables and processes.
- Be the main source of ideas and initiator for employee engagements activities/programs
- Quarterly review compensation & benefits and provide recommendations to management in line with industry comparisons.
General HR Responsibilities:
- Manage Payroll, CPF, and all employee-related matters such as leave entitlements, compensation, benefits and submit all statutory claims – childcare, maternity, NS makeup claim etc.
- Manage External Resource Extension/Renewals, EP application process, Work Pass Management – application and renewals
- Work with external advisors to organize, facilitate and document Performance Management Reviews collaboratively with supervisors and the management team.
- Execute exit formalities and conduct exit interviews.
- Participate and handle government survey, grants and claims.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent in Business Management, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
- 3 or more years of successful HR generalist and professional experience managing employee engagement and retention initiatives in a fast-moving and agile environment.
- Enjoys a fast-paced and energetic start-up environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, follow-through, and results orientation, ability to deliver high-quality work independently
- Proven track record of developing, driving, and delivering against implementation plans.
- Technically competent with Singapore’s regulations, trends, and best practices
- Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement with a high degree of initiative.
- Resilient and comfortable taking ownership.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand key HR metrics, such as engagement and retention, and employee value and performance
Note: This is a hybrid working position where a candidate would work both from home and the office when needed
