Who we looking for:
The Condition Monitoring and Vibration Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment of our predictive maintenance products and services for clients; ensuring the continuous stability of the deployment infrastructure, and facilitating uninterrupted data collection.
You will coordinate and schedule work as necessary as well as assemble and maintain technical data and reports as required by the clients and machine learning engineers.
You will also be accountable for overall safety, including ensuring compliance with all clients, ISO, Bizsafe, and all other applicable standards to the facility that Groundup.Ai is servicing.
A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be essential in succeeding in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Deployment, Planning, and Coordination:
- Building and maintaining Predictive Maintenance technology databases alongside Groundup.Ai machine learning engineers.
- Assist in setup work such as Technology Mapping, Criticality Analysis, etc.
- Onsite equipment site surveys and information gathering.
- Collect technology data in accordance with Groun and best practice industry standards.
- Performs visual inspection of client equipment for proper installation, damage, etc.
- Data analysis of the technical data for defect or deficient conditions.
- Report results in a clear concise manner following all I-Care and/or client procedures for content.
- Coordinate with various internal teams (e.g., R&D, Sales, etc.) to ensure smooth deployment and integration of hardware products.
Infrastructure Management:
- Ensure the continuous stability of the deployed infrastructure to facilitate uninterrupted data collection.
- Monitor the performance of hardware products, proactively identifying and addressing any issues to prevent downtime.
Resource Management and Technical Support
- Implement strategies for efficient resource utilization during deployment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop guidelines and protocols for resource allocation, optimizing the deployment process to minimize waste and enhance efficiency.
- Provide technical support to clients, addressing any concerns or issues with the hardware products promptly.
- Perform troubleshooting procedures to identify and rectify problems, preventing potential disruptions to data collection.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure that all deployments adhere to industry standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the quality of hardware products, implementing improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
Reporting and Contribution to Improvements:
- Prepare detailed reports on the deployment process, including resource utilization and project outcomes.
- Document best practices and lessons learned during deployment, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and protocols.
Professional Development and Training:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in the industry, participating in training and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Must have requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in engineering or a similar role.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Mobius Institute VCAT – 2 certified.
